Sun 10th, 3pm, Emma and Abi will join storyteller Daniel Allison to present MEADOW MORPHOSE, an artist led storytelling walk. Hear weird and wild tales of shamanic initiation as you walk and discover the creatures dwelling in Meadows Yard.
Emma Macleod and Abi Lewis are both members of Edinburgh based art collective place+platform.
Working mostly in sculpture, Emma Macleod's practice centres around pots, colour, the flow of liquid and the natural environment, taking influence from birds, nesting & re-production.
Recent projects include Art Walk Porty, The Neverending Glen at Kelburn Castle Estate and recipient of the RSA Open Exhibition WASPS Residency Award in 2016.
Working in illustration, object placement and sculpture, Abi Lewis creates fantastical and vibrant otherworldly scenes. Imaginary, yet oddly familiar creatures inhabit their own strange spaces, which threaten to creep out into the material world.
