Three artists who came together during lockdown to support each other remotely across the Firth of Forth, the water being the link between them while they were physically separated. They are delighted to ‘assemble’ together to share our work.

Sue creates stained glass artworks for architectural installations, bespoke commissions, and decorative sculptural pieces. Her work conveys a love for the transformative joyful power of glass, bringing light, hope and colour into dark places.

"Each piece is unique, using different types of glass, and various surface decoration techniques such as painting, fusing, transfer. I love the technical and creative challenge of working with others on special commissions, and experimenting to find the perfect way to assemble treasured memories and personal symbolic fragments. "

Sue has enjoyed a long and deeply rewarding career working in the NHS, supporting clients as a specialist nurse in Addiction and Mental Health services. Her working career has always focused on discovering, creating, and supporting paths to recovery, healing and wholeness, from afflictions of the body, mind and soul. This understanding and interest in the fragile condition of the weary soul and the transformative role that hope and support plays in illuminating the road to recovery, underpins Sues creative practice as a stained-glass artist.
