We are really delighted to be able to welcome everyone back to our Art Houses open studios and Cafe based exhibitions this year as part of 'Art Walk Porty'.

Art Houses are open (unless stated otherwise)
Sats 10am-6pm | Suns 11am-5pm

TALKS, PERFORMANCES, WORKSHOPS & WALKS

Guided Walks with Alexander (Twig) Champion
Sat 4th & Sun 5th Sept
Friendly, social walks around Portobello, guiding participants to points of interest and having informal conversations around what we see. Seeking to create a calming, meditative experience, poetic readings about the surrounding landscapes will also be read.
Sat 4th Sept, 4-5pm (West & Central studios)
Sun 5th Sept, 3-4pm (Joppa studios)
Starting from Art Walk Hub 189 Portobello High St

Rebecca Stuart - Location 7 - Coast Cards Community Project
Sat 4th Sept, 1 & 4pm
A participatory arts project developed over the nine day period inviting the public to create ceramic postcards with reference to the Victorian seaside holiday, with works made & installed for the second weekend.

Artist Talk: Making Connections

drawing upon Sarah’s recent processes and working practices.

Robin Baillie - Location 15 Performance- DITCHBURN: Loudhailer
Sat 4 Sept, 2-2.30pm
Robin Baillie (from the avantgarde music duo DITCHBURN) will be reciting poems which address the aesthetics of inequality.
No need to book.
Peter Jones - Location 17
Outdoor Children’s Workshop

Sat 11th Sept, 11-12
Open to 7-10 year olds with a maximum of 8 participants, with brief intro and demonstration of watercolour, a guided subject inspired by the adjacent garden.
