Lynsey Walters creates colourful felt jewellery combining handmade and industrial felt.
Her wearable wool jewellery and hair accessories are inspired by her vintage collections and a quiky view of colour, and based loosely on an imaginary garden crossed with a delicious haberdashery shop. The work is strongly coloured and has a delightful nostalgic charm.
She has been in business since graduating from the Royal College of Art in 2000 where she studied constructed textiles. She previously gained a BA(Hons) from Edinburgh College of Art in Printed Textiles.
During the first weekend of the Art Walk, Lynsey opens up her house with jeweller Carla Edwards - taking place at venue 20.
